Custom Portraits, Paintings, Hand Painted Bags & More!

Welcome to my little ArtWorks shop on Etsy! I'm new to Etsy but have been painting & drawing for over 40 years!
I specialize in pastel chalk/colored pencil portraits and graphite/pencil sketches of people such as the pastel portraits of my daughter at age 3 and my son at age 10 - pictured on my banner above.
I also do pen & ink drawings/illustrations of houses, churches and interesting buildings. Over the years, people have commissioned me to do portraits, landscapes, still life paintings, murals (both realistic and pop art) for businesses and homes, advertising design for print ads, logos and pet portraits. Most recently, I have enjoyed painting dogs (mostly little yorkies, just because I am more familiar with them and love 'em) on handbags and other accessories. Don't worry - I have painted other breeds and will be adding some examples soon! I am also doing more small paintings and original ACEOs. My husband and I make a few small leather crafts as well.
I don't currently belong to any official artist organizations Right now, I am just a self-representing "starving artist" doing what I love to do & trying to make some money to pay my bills! I look forward to networking with other artists and I hope you enjoy my art!
